- Provide for the sharing of facilities and make gates available at the airport;
- Provide a sterile area following excessive tarmac delays for passengers who have not yet cleared United States Customs & Border Protection (CBP)

Airport Master Plan
EGE is currently undergoing an update of our Master Plan, please see www.egemasterplan.com for more information.
In 2014 Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) completed a master plan update. The Eagle County Regional Airport master plan process resulted in a 20-year plan outlining the needs of current and future users of the airport. This process is important for ensuring that safe and orderly development can occur at EGE that is consistent with the goals of the community. It determines what facilities are needed, when they will be needed and how much they will cost. There are no predetermined outcomes, meaning the plan is based on current conditions, community input and forecasts. Input and feedback is invaluable to the process. Outreach to airport users, tenants, carriers, neighbors, business owners, neighboring jurisdictions and the general public occurred throughout the project.
